Low noise, Great looks, High Suction with wifi control
Reviewing after a week of installation…a Great looking low noise kitchen chimney from Hindware with very good suction of 1350m3/h in turbo mode. The wifi control is also working very well..tried out on/off, speed variation, light control and timer operation. Build quality and material is awesome. The black Inox colour scheme looks amazing. No issues at all. Still using the plastic expandable duct supplied by Hindware in the box, would like to replace with aluminium duct as and when required. Installation from Hindware was free of cost and the job was done nicely by the installation engineer. Although the motor is not a BLDC one the four stage speed regulation is smooth and noiseless and the max power of 160W creates really very good suction to drive away the kitchen smoke and also prevents the kitchen aroma from spreading into the house. Auto cleaning is not due yet.. waiting for completion of 30 hours of chimney operation. For those who are planning to buy Hindware Optimus ipro 90 Chimney, I would say please don’t hesitate..just go for it…

Great chimney though iot features are rather meh
Brought the optimus ipro 60 chimney for my kitchen and the technicians were in touch for installation. They inspected my kitchen and suggested a metal stand that they themselves fabricated and installed later along with good quality aluminum exhaust pipe. The chimney itself is quite good & even at high settings, doesn’t make much sound. Integrating it with my iot however was abit struggle as I repeatedly had to contact the support team and despite telling them about a previously canceled order appearing in app, they still haven’t deleted the canceled order listing. The app too is pretty decent once registered and frankly has better integration with Alexa than Google assistant due to underlying api. Even if you don’t integrate it with Alexa or assistant, the app does let you control plenty of features minus the clock which sets according to its connection with server and there’s no manual setting which again isn’t a big deal. Overall I still think it’s an excellent chimney and I had zero issues with it except for dealing with customer care which is another story but that’s alright as their technicians were quite good at their work and occasional customer support interactions are a minor hassle compared to the other features we get in the chimney in comparison to competitors. I highly recommend this chimney for people who are looking for a sleek & silent chimney living in metro & tier-2 cities since their service network might be a hassle in other tiers yet overall if it fits your criteria, I do recommend it even if you don’t end up using its iot features which are alright though also are very useful at times such as the ability to do Auto-Clean from app (wish they gave a manual option too) among others such as setting light, timer, etc. There’s also some confusion in their listing as some indicate 1350 while some say 1400 (maybe they upgraded the model) which again isn’t so bad as it’s suction power at 1350 with minimal noise is quite good for its compact size and pricing.

Stops working after 2 months and Hindware warranty doesn’t exist
Hi All,I searched for multiple chimneys and still went for Hindware thinking about aftersales service and product quality.InstallationThe guy came with a silver pipe asking 2500 for the pipe which is barely 500 rupees, and charged more money for the installation when i reached to the hindware team they have no idea about the charges for the pipe and gave me a number to speak with local distributor who was very rude and said if you want pay the money or keep the product without installation.then i have asked him give bill the pipe which he refused to give and said we will not give bill for any hindware services.after the fitting is done they had no idea about the IOT on the chimney and they did very bad job with the installation that all the covers were only half removed and it is looking very bad.later they said will come back after few days and finish the demo nobody came but they have closed the call after many daysbut do not get fooled by this as my chimney got issues after 2 months and i have raised a service ticket (#KAACYI03AP0001 — VADLA Ragava — mobile )with the team, the service guy calls me and says your product is in warranty and will come to the service only if you pay me or do what ever you want nobody will come for checking after so many calls and other things nobody came and the product stopped working,Now i have raised a service request(#KARCYJ28AP0012 — VADLA RAGAVA) now also technician calls and asks if the product is under warranty and is not lifting phone after telling product is under warranty.I tried to reach him multiple times he doesn’t lift the calls or comes for the serviceIf you want some peace of mind don’t buy hindware thinking about the brand the service is very bad

Great chimney!
Chimney is great! Installation process was pretty smooth and since it’s a IOT based chimney it can be operated using phone easily! I appreciate the people of Hindware who gave their seemeless service for installation and for setting up the app which is required to operate this Chimney.

 Bought this chimney in a sale and it has been a game changer. The chimney works silently and is very efficient. Haven’t used the IOT function yet. The chimney works flawlessly.
