Fans attending the recent Paris Olympics were the target of cybercriminals looking to capitalize on scarce tickets and eager fans with a multitude of scams, experts have revealed. Lenovo is working on two new AI-powered Chromebook tablets collectively codenamed Ciri. That is what news site Chrome Unboxed claims after tracking the devices on two “public repositories” – cros.tech and Chromium Dash – which pull their info from Google servers. The Premier League kicks off this week, and a new AI referee tool to spot when players are offside will be coming on board before it ends, as first reported by Wired. Google AI will help you “be more productive” by writing thank-you notes, said Google’s VP of Devices and Services, Rick Osterloh, in an interview with Joanna Stern of the Wall Street Journal ($/£).
