Why I love the HONOR X9b! : One month usage review
I have bough this phone on first sale, I was going to buy OnePlus, but then I sawit has a flat screen, and I found HONORs. I was not fully convinced, but I’m ahardcore honor band user so I knew they make great products. I’ve been usingX9b phone for a month, I purchased it on first sale offer and here is my full onemonth review. Superb Display – The curved display with power of steel Ever since Samsung had brought curved display in earlier times, I have been afan of curved displays. The x9b has very nice quality on the display, manydevices claim to have AMOLED, but the quality of the display is equallyimportant, this one is very nice. Very even brightness not patches, feels like atop quality panel. The edges are also protected very well from accidentaltouches, never tapped on anything I didn’t want to. Watching prime video andNetflix is also very much fun. The most surprising thing that I saw Honormarketing was the durability. And initially I thought it was only for marketing, but then I saw YouTube videos and instagram, and realised it was actually thecase. Then I also got Honor protect plan for free, in which even if I break thescreen, it will be fixed for free. So even they are sure. It gives me a specialconfidence, and now I don’t even use a case. Maybe in some time I’ll startusing, but I could never do this with my previous phone.Battery marathon – Days like 1, 2, 3…. On day 1 my battery only lasted 1 day. I was a bit disappointed, but then aftertwo weeks, I started getting 1 and a half day. Then I realised on first day Iinstalled every app, and transferred data and used the phone very heavily. Buton regular use now every three days I charge my phone only twice. The batteryis very big so charging does take a bit of time, like 1.5 – 2 hours, but since Icharge less now it did the same experience. The battery usage is interesting, itseems bigger than 5800mah, because I previously used Samsung M seriesphone with 6000mAh and it never lasted so much. I have never had full 72hours battery life like claim, but this one week I was travelling to Jaipur, myphone usage was less in watching movies since I was travelling, only clickedfew pictures and basic calls, I left with full charge on Friday night and my nextcharging was on Monday morning is So Honor done a very good job but what Icannot understand is how did such big battery fit into this phone. It’s really thinand light, still has such a large battery, this is the most awesome part. Almostno phone available with such big battery and thin design.Software Experience is Magical – AI, AI, and moreThe basics are good, it is easy to look at and easy to use. It is also clean, a fewapps I saw on fresh install and no Ads in UI one of the biggest. Generally allphones my friends have, it has great hardware but software feels cheap. Withhonor the software is very premium feeling. I recently saw Magic 6 Pro in MWCvideo and the UI experience is similar on the X9b. It also has very interestingHome Screen features like stacked cards which is very useful otherwise I couldonly put 1-2 widgets on screen but stacked cards was very good. I generallyalways use App drawer, but this is the first software I used where if you did allapps on homescreen you get additional features. Like Swipe up on apps forsecondary function. This is a very deep software, so it will take time to learnand understand. But AI integration is the best on this phone, in gallery, innotifications panel, app folders and keyboard. Keyboard has GPT and also hasimage generation and text editor. This is very cool. You can get it on otherphones if you install swiftkey, but it comes pre-installed on this and now I wantall my phones to have this keyboard.Special mention to Honor Protect Plan, no other smartphone brand in India hasthis kind of offers and it is very big value for the price of the phone. If you want the best display, the best battery performance, and best software atthis price. There is no smartphone that can beat it.

    Awesome mobile
After using for more than six months I am really happy with this phone. It’s display is awesome and camera quality is too good. Even it captures awsome pics in low light and in night. Battery is also powerful and running long. It just lack the fast charging.

    Expert Review: Honor X9b 5G Anti-Drop Curved Display-Dont Buy
    ### Expert Review: Honor X9b 5G Anti-Drop Curved Display-Dont Buy**Purchased Date**: May 7, 2024**Reviewed Date**: July 17, 2024I purchased the Honor X9b 5G in mid-May, primarily attracted by its advertised anti-drop curved display. The phone performed admirably in many respects, but I encountered a significant issue that warrants mentioning.**Pros:**1. **Performance**: The Honor X9b 5G offers smooth and fast performance with SD 6 gen 1. , But other phones with the same configuration are available at lower prices. Apps load quickly, and multitasking is seamless, thanks to the hardware configuration.2. **Display Quality**: The curved display is good. It provides vibrant colors and excellent brightness, making media consumption a pleasure.3. **5G Connectivity**: The 5G support ensures high-speed internet connectivity, which is excellent for streaming and downloading large files.**Cons:**1. **Durability of Display**: Despite the advertised “anti-drop” feature, my experience was quite the opposite. Yesterday, the phone slipped from a very slight height, less than two feet, and the display cracked. This was quite surprising and disappointing, given the strong emphasis on the phone’s supposed durability. This incident has made me question the integrity of the “anti-drop” claim.**Conclusion:**While the Honor X9b 5G excels in performance and display quality, the durability of the curved display is questionable. Potential buyers should be cautious and consider additional protective measures like a high-quality case or screen protector. It’s a fantastic phone in many areas, but the durability issue is a significant drawback that cannot be overlooked.—I hope this review is helpful to others considering this phone.
